The expansion of the Mater Dei Sanatorium consists of the construction of a new reinforced concrete structure with 10 floors and 2 basements. This project will be developed on a lot adjacent to the existing sanatorium, with an estimated area of 4,100 m² for the new construction and a renovation of 260 m². In addition, a building located on Castex Street, between San Martín de Tours and Ortiz de Ocampo Streets, will be integrated. The proposal includes the refunctionalization of the existing building, with the aim of preserving its heritage value, especially with regard to its typology and façade, adapting it to its new function as a medical center for outpatient clinics. The remodeling will cover an area of between 1,100 and 1,200 m².
